11/28/2023 0 Comments Adobe photoshop cancel subscriptionLooking at my profile page there's an option to "manage plan" so I click on it and. Really? Why even advertise a monthly rate at all? Whatever. So I jumped on to the adobe website and "Cool! A month will only cost $1.99 I can do that!" Failing to read the smaller sub text that it would be billed at $23.88 for a whole year. Shame on you, Adobe.I wanted to get a month subscription to PDF export to export a form for a non-tech savvy uncle. Still haven't resolved this issue, and I am *this* close to just deleting my account and explaining to my teacher that sorry, I will be living in the stone age from here on. Same with trying to cancel Adobe Stock, what an actual nightmare! I had to fight to get out of a trial period, and the customer service person tried to force me into another subscription and I think I had to sit an hour to explain that no, I do not want to pay for a service I see now I will not be needing. If it were up to me, I'd never, EVER use any Adobe product ever again in my life. I hate that I pay money for Creative Cloud. They will simply stop the conversation without helping, try to sell me some god-awful subscription (and hey, by the way, Adobe - if you are going to give me a "super good offer", 433,75 per month is actually MORE than the 188,75 for the substance 3D-package!). I have gotten the email with the damn code. I have sent in the documentation, several times. No, not even with a shameful "super special offer". I have talked to probably eight or nine different people (not counting the bots!) No, I do not want to buy Substance painter. I am supposed to get educational access to Substance Painter. I had to explain eight time to the same person that yes, I have the code, but when I put in the code it does not work - and the reply was always whether I had done any of the 3243298 steps before this, which I had to explain - every single time - that YES I HAD DONE THIS ALREADY. Then, when you finally reach an agent of Adobe, it is like they are trained specifically to not read what you are writing to them. First you have to try to convince a bot to let you talk to an actual human being. Nowadays you overpay for a subscription, you fight with the software and all the logins, the clouds, the codes, the set up, the confirmation email etc, etc etc. You bought the program, and then, voila - you had it, it worked. I remember the good old days when Adobe was a reliable company with good products. Awful company, there are just as good if not better apps out there that don't cost a fortune and scam you into paying over £100 for something you don't need. Now I have to watch as £10 every month leaves my bank account for apps I am never going to use. I will still have to pay around £130 I don't have (of course they have no empathy for the cost of living crisis) for the displeasure of not using their service. I called them up and the very nice customer service man did what he could to make sure I would pay the least I could by putting me on a cheaper photography plan and giving me 3 months free (my thanks are to him only and never Adobe). When I tried to cancel it, it said that as I chose to pay annually not monthly (although I had selected monthly billing) I had to pay over £200 to cancel it! 2 months and £102 later I finally called them up to explain that not only were their apps useless, I am expected to pay a total of over £300 for never using the apps. It turns out none of them were useful but during the busy scheduling of the preparations, I forgot to cancel the membership before the free trial ended. Applied for a free trial to see which apps, if any, would be useful during the pre-production of our show.
